A Montreal man pulled a 65-year-old woman from a wheelchair and
sexually assaulted her. After he was convicted, the Canadian Supreme
Court ordered that he be granted a new trial. The court ruled that the
man's claim that he was too drunk to know what he was doing was a
valid defense and he should be allowed a chance to prove it.
