An Inclusive Litany

During a visit to the United States, the Dalai Lama encountered
protesters who accused him of religious intolerance. After studying
tradition and consulting an oracle, the Tibetan Buddhist religious
leader had concluded that the Dorje Shugden, a much-worshipped
protector god, is actually an evil spirit. In so doing, he had
instituted a Western-style set of theological restrictions.
