An Ontario woman who got drunk at an office party and crashed her car successfully sued her employer for $300,000 for allowing her to drive, even though the company offered a cab ride or accommodation if she gave up her keys. A nearby bar at which she continued drinking after leaving the party was originally named in the suit, but was dropped after it closed due to financial difficulties.
