An Inclusive Litany

When 405-pound Gary Sellick found he couldn't fit into any of the
chairs that employees at a Denny's
restaurant provided for him, one employee couldn't help but start
laughing at the sight of his ordeal. This prompted Sellick to leave
the restaurant humiliated, and to file a $1.3 million lawsuit against
Denny's for inflicting emotional abuse and for failing to accommodate
his disability—classified as "morbid obesity" under the Americans
with Disabilities Act.
