In Ohio, racist and anti-homosexual flyers appeared at
Miami University's
Center for Black Culture and Learning, sparking two days of
demonstrations protesting a lack of diversity on campus. Seven
students were arrested for disorderly conduct, leading to the sale of
"Miami 7" T-shirts and a conciliatory meeting between university
president James Garland and Nathaniel Snow, head of the Black Student
Action Association. But police fingerprint tests concluded that the
flyers had been posted by Snow and one of the arrested protesters.
